This was a fabulous, quick appetizer we through together this Father’s Day weekend! And it will be a fun one to mess around with, switching out the seasonings or even meat mixture and pepper type! For this one we used Pablanos from my parents garden, chicken and Colby mix cheese blend!
What we used
- 5 Pablano peppers
- 2 thawed chicken breast
- taco seasoning
- Hot sauce of choice
- Shredded cheese
Cut the peppers into halves and place a side. Cook chicken in taco seasoning (following the recipe on the seasoning mix). Shred chicken to desired size, I use a chicken aid, then place the shredded chicken into the peppers. Splash the hot sauce of choice on each pepper, then cover with cheese.
Place peppers on the BBQ for about 5-8 minutes, until cheese is melted. Take off and enjoy!!
